Thanks to all those who made it possible
The Daltons - Barbara, Dave, and Sam, were hospitable hosts,
both in Reading and on the Canal boat.
Bryce let us stay at his place in Chiswick.
Tranz Rail's IT group, headed by Garry White, allowed my
extended leave.
The travel agency gave sound advice, made the travel bookings,
and some of the key accommodation bookings, and even helped
us 'bend' the rules so we could fly home through San Francisco.
Rachel looked after the house and cats
while we were away.
Kirsten and Adrian caused it all, and included us in the
wedding arrangements.
But most of all, the kids made it worthwhile - they didn't
grumble (as they could have!), enjoyed themselves, did what
was needed, and DIDN'T GET LOST!
